Road of Bones incorporates poignant images captured along the Kolyma Highway in Russia. Notorious for its dark and gruesome past where many Gulag prisoners fell during the period of Soviet repression. Sobol has documented the bleak landscape and a community surviving in one of the coldest parts of the inhabited world today

All photographs in this collection were shot in black and white on the Leica M Monochrom and Leica X cameras.
