The Leica ER2.5-10x42 is an ultra-low profile deer-stalking & target rifle-scope; designed to cope with a wide variety of stalking and target situations from very close to longer ranges; from woodland high-seat to open hill shooting.
On low power settings, the wide field of view is a distinct advantage in quick target acquisition for driven game or woodland stalking; the higher magnification is a benefit over longer distances enabling accurate and humane shot placement.
The ER 2.5-10x42 is available in six models including the Leica ASV quick adjust elevation turret for vertical bullet drop compensation. Available Reticles: German #1, German 4A, Leica Plex, Leica Ballistic Plex and Leica CDD. All reticles are the second image plane.

A complex fluting and painting system inside the hood absorbs irritating reflections and the mounting itself is is fixed by a robust screw thread.
